Diving Equipment
Scuba diving is an equipment based sport. We can’t go underwater without proper working gear that enables us to breathe, swim and see. As a Divemaster it’s highly recommended to own your full set of diving equipment, which consists of:
Buying the full set of equipment before the course is a bit of an investment. If you are still not 100% sure that this path is for you, it’ll be better for you to rent the gear you need for the duration of the course and gradually invest in your own set. At Dive Pro Career, we offer affordable equipment rental and have big discounts for our Divemaster candidates.
Learn how to dive like a pro
The main goal of the PADI Divemaster Course is to learn how to dive like a professional. There are many training requirements candidates must fulfill to finish the course. You can read about them in detail in the description of PADI Divemaster Course. However, the most important thing for every Divemaster candidate is to get as much experience as possible both in the water and on land with diving logistics.
To enable this, in Dive Pro Career we focus on providing the right environment and opportunities for our candidates. During the Divemaster course, you will be able to work in a busy dive shop and have the opportunity to participate and observe how the dive industry works. You’ll also learn from the experiences of fellow divers, divemaster candidates and instructors. On top of that, during the Divemaster course we offer unlimited fun diving where you can grab a tank, jump on the boat and enjoy the beautiful underwater dive sites of Moalboal, whilst building your scuba experience in the process.
Last but not least, we believe at Dive Pro Career that the most efficient way to learn is to gain knowledge from more experienced divers, especially instructors who will oversee your PADI Divemaster Course. Therefore, we value having an experienced team of instructors on hand, who are available anytime for you and are eager to help and answer all your questions on scuba diving.
Make new friendships and contacts
Some people say that if you share a passion with someone, it’s just a step away from friendship. This saying 100% applies to scuba divers.
During your Divemaster Course you will be able to meet many like-minded people, who share the same interests. That in itself will enable you to build strong friendships and make contacts in the diving industry. The people you will meet on your way to becoming a Divemaster, will end up helping you in the future, either by finding your dream job or providing you with unique insights about the wonderful dive sites around the world. Many busy dive shops around the world are in need of people with great diving skills. In Dive Pro Career we not only put a tremendous amount of effort into preparing you for your first job as a Divemaster, but we will also provide you with knowledge and experience that hopefully will put you on track to becoming a diving instructor in the near future.
